Forensic Psychological Services
Dr. Hirschhorn provides forensic psychological services to inform legal proceedings, drawing on extensive training and experience across outpatient, residential, and skilled nursing care settings. She previously served as a Staff Psychologist within Primary Care at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she delivered integrated mental health care to a diverse Veteran population with complex medical and psychological needs. Her clinical work has included the assessment and treatment of trauma-related conditions across the lifespan, informed by a comprehensive, biopsychosocial approach.
Dr. Hirschhorn’s forensic practice is grounded in evidence-based methodology, ethical and legal standards, and practice specialty guidelines. She maintains a strong commitment to professional growth through ongoing education, peer consultation, and engagement with current research.
